Maria Montessori didn't share any information about screen time because... well... it wasn't a thing yet! But since she based her methods in science, I think she would have taken a research-based approach (and not a fear-based approach or zero-screen approach like I've seen promoted sometimes). The Montessori method focuses on hands-on education and real-life learning, so I don't think Dr. Montessori would have encouraged screens in her infant, toddler, or primary classrooms. However, I think she would have seen a place for screens in the elementary years and up (see the section Older Children below).
